2010 US Open Schedule
The 2010 US Open will take place from Monday 30 August to Sunday 12 September at Flushing Meadows, New York. The main tournament consists of five championships - the men's and women's singles, the men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles.
Additional tournaments are for senior, junior and wheelchair players. All the qualifying rounds and the open practice day, which generally falls on the first Sunday of the event, are free to spectators.
Another huge draw card for the younger set is the Arthur Ashe Kids Day, traditionally held on the first Saturday of the tournament. The day honours Arthur Ashe and his mission to use tennis as a way of teaching children leadership skills, academic excellence and compassion for their fellow man.
Apart from enjoying a carnival atmosphere, both adults and children alike will have the chance to test their on- court skills against some of the rising stars of the game. Entrance to the Arthur Ashe Kids Day is also free.
Gates open at 10am for all day sessions and 6pm for all night sessions. Please note that the 2009 US Open schedule is subject to change
